If your growing outdoors they will bud when the days start to shorten. Your right; mother nature will do the job outdoors. They will start to bud around 1st of August.

I understand that your plants will begin to bud when there is a 12/12 ratio for light to darkness. Does this occur naturaly since i am not growing indoors and controlling the light intake?
