Red / Purple Stems ... Whats this from ?? Anyone able to help ??
On one of my vegging ladys , the stems seem to be turning redish purple , what would cause this and how would i fix this ? I have read a few places that this could be normal ... but not many of my other ones are doing it? Is this due to over-fert ? Or maybe a lack of something ??
Any advice would help , Thanks guyskmac9119 Reviewed by kmac9119 on . Red / Purple Stems ... Whats this from ?? Anyone able to help ?? Darkening of the stems and leaves, while looking exotic, and advertised in some strains, is usually caused by nutrient deficiency. You may need to increase the ratio of nutrients you're giving to your plants. I imagine if you post what you're currently feeding them someone who has experienced this can solve your problem

Im using Bio-Bizz products. Bio-Grow for Veg and Bio-Bloom for flowering.
(No clue what strain as this was bag seed ... very good MJ tho . I got a qtr and about every bud had seeds .. and ive planted about 10 of them and all came out female ... so im guessin the guy stressed his plant out and made it a hermy , therefore making all the seeds female (Correct or am i wrong??)
MY water is PH'd about 6.5 . What exactly would cause "LOCKOUT" of the plant? Its been growing VERY nice , accualty one of the fastest and everything but the redish stems , looks great and very healthy.
As all these seeds are the same , im guessing its not a purple strain as none of my others are like this .
Would root-bound cause this ??
Thanks for all the input guys

it is NORMAL for somes strains to show purple in the petiole. it can also be a sign of a N deficiency. (not making a diagnosis, just stating facts). but like stated above, fill out the troubleshooting form. got pics?
