I am new here, im wondering what some of the american on the site think about safety of posting specific details and pictures?

Not that I grow anything illegal, but if I did I would be extremely paranoid about the feds tracking IP addresses and getting all the info they would need for a warrant.

Example, A murderer was identified playing world of warcraft when police were investigating his where abouts, found his digital footprint and located him. Dont know the exact means they used for this, but it gets ya thinking.

welcome to the boards Shennen. glad to have you here. i don't think there is anything to worry about. the Feds don't have the man-power or resources to go after individuals.

well in that case they knew who it was they were looking for and that he played wow. from there it was easy. but that type of investigation is expensive and requires warrents. they only spend that kind of money on capital offences so the small grower has little to worry about. that is unless your growing hundreds of plants. in that case they wouldnt be posting here.
