MV I gotta say 12 oz is not that much, maybe its a start, but in the future they are going to be like, last time it was 12 oz, now its a pound. I think 1 pound for each patient is a good place to start. all this OZ thing is a waste, everyone knows 1 pound will last and to a chronosuir, curing buds for a better medical value takes sometimes up to 6 months, how are you going to have 6 months of herb stored in a curing process. this is a big thing curing adds flavor which is a big medicinal value. curring 6 or 12 oz for 4 months well what are you going to medicate with if your buds are in curring?
I say scratch the oz debate and move to 1 pound, this gives the average patent the ability to grow as a grower and not rely on the states dispensaries. in the future 2 pounds would not be that hard to debate, I believe each patient should have a 1 or 2 pound limit to have on them at all times, even if traveling for Thanksgiving or something. who is to say your not going to have pain or need to medicate, Oz is like saying on joint to some. I think they need to open their eyes the street stoner's smoke more than 6 OZ and their not usually medicating their simply social medicating (which should be legal too but one thing at a time).

Yes I agree 12 ounces is two small now(I initially thought 12 would be good.)

On the petition I sent out, and asked patients to send, it asked for 24oz(1.5lbs).

I am confused, who are you guys sending the letters too, Martinez isn't even in office yet? Are you sending your letter to the DOH, and they are passing it along to Martinez/Diaz?
