Well originally the patients group was just a mailing list that I wanted to put together to help keep patients up to date on issues, and if we need to voice our opinion on something we could stand united.

I just made this group on cann.com 2 days ago, so folks could get together here on this site.

Now on meetup there are two groups, NM Medical Cannabis Meetup Group which has 68 members, as is ran by Mia.
I think this would be a good group for everyone to join who is a current MJ patient, Mia seems nice, everyone can post new ideas there as well.

There is also a New Mexico Medical Cannabis Patients Group, which was started by Paul, but I have tried contacting him several times and I have heard from Mia that the group is now defunct as Paul has not been taking care of things. If you guys know Paul see if he can pass his info over to Mia so we can get that group going, I know it costs monthly to have a meetup site, so maybe Paul just stopped paying his dues, Im not sure about that whole thing.

I thought the patients mailing list was a good idea, as if someone running the meetup site decides they no longer want to pay every month, then it becomes defunct, with email, there is no charge for us patients to stay in contact.

Since Pauls group is defunct, I was thinking about creating new group called the New Mexico Medical Marijuana Patients Group, I decided to change it NMMPG so it is not confused with the NMMCPG( New Mexico Medical Cannabis Producers Guild, which was the same acronym used for Pauls group, kinda confusing.) But I don't want to put money into it if people arn't going to be interested in joining and participating.
