cannabis actually tolerates low levels of chlorine (chloride). it is fundamental in photosynthesis and cell divisin in the roots and foliage. it also regulates osmotic pressure in the cells which opens/closes the stomata to regulate moisture within the plant.

a deficiency and excess show the same sytmpoms, although a deficiency is uncommon. young leaves pale and wilt, and if the problem progresses leaves become chlorotic and show a distinct bronze color.

i do concur that most municipal water sytems probably put way too much chlorine in. just wanted to share.
