Within the last year i received a marijuana ACD in New York. The dismissal is still pending and I have not been in any trouble in NY since. However, I was charged with possession in Connecticut. I am trying to get assigned to a drug education program as my punishment, but previous convictions can affect acceptance to the program. Could the ACD be considered a conviction by CT officials, or even a conviction at all? They asked if I was convicted of any drug related charges and I said that I wasn't, which is beginning to seem like a mistake. Would they be able to see the ACD on any records? And lastly, would the charge in Connecticut affect the pending dismissal of the ACD?
