    Funny Story

So...we were getting ready to harvest.

My bf went out to check on one section and stumbled upon hikers. This is right on the heels of the missing mother discovery, so bf was rightfully concerned. Hikers had a vid camera and were heading into an area hikers don't generally penetrate.

Bf goes in, strips all the plants we had in that section and comes out with everything tied up in his shirt. Risking it all, he openly carried the small harvest to our car, leaving pots and stems behind.

That was over a month ago.

2 days ago we went for a walk. We went to the spot and found all of our buckets completely untouched.

The best part? Because bf had ripped everything down in a hurry, he left behind all the little buds. Amazingly, they had turned toward the sun and continued to grow.

Our random hike in the woods netted us an extra oz of dry, premium bud ;o)

yeah, it's off the beaten trail by a good distance. Lots of crawling and getting pricked with thorns...but worth it.

But everywhere you'll have those people that will wander off the trail as they are more adventurous lol

yeah, that's what I would assume. But they were there for 4.5 mths, so I think it might be a moot point now.

Did you totally miss the point of the story?

Yup. They were laying down in pots and everything. They all turned up toward the sun, and even lasted throughout the first frost ;o) We've been smoking it for a couple of days and it tastes better than the stuff my neighbour bought this morning.

I feel like my whole world has changed since I began growing. For so long I just spent money on buying and paying the middleman. Now I learn something just about everyday regarding plants. I just wish we didn't have to be so secretive....like the molson plant stuff - I would have liked that to have been mine and been able to be openly proud of it. I wonder if this is how gay people in the closet feel? ;o)
