Low Stress Training
you don't need to use rockwool with hydroton. most people use RW to start clones (or beans). there are a lot of inherent issues with RW. you have to pre-soak, it retains moisture heavily, it can cause your pH to keep running up and they can grow fungus/mold....but you obviously can't start straight in hydroton. i would suggest rapid rooters. they work wonderfully, no pre-soak, allow tons of air to get to roots.

it usually works out this way. males tend to grow bigger, faster, stronger, which makes sense as you need to have the males and their pollen ready before the females flowers are ready.
