Anyone can set up a hydro system by following directions, and learning to use a pH and TDS pen.

Growing organic in soil is more of an art form and canned recipes don't work nearly as well as hydro.



OP, as far as results, hydro often looks different from organic, and there is also a difference in taste and high... I prefer organic.

Also, yields can be comparable in either system. I use organic and most hydro growers can't come close to my yields, which are often over 1 g/W.
