    Winter Grow - Indica Mix

I've grown this strain of New England bubblegum for 10 years, off and on. No fruit smell or flavor. Very nice floral smell and sweet taste. One of the best.

As I closed in the grow area (I have movable Mylar reflector panels) the canopy temp went to 90º today.
As a preparation to harvest all the plants go into darkness for 48+ hours after 'dusk' this evening. Ambient temp will be 62º. :hippy:

A couple of days of drying. Shouldn't take long as the buds are pretty thin.

MMmmmmmm. Tasty. Nice long Ceril cola. Sativa's get some length. What seeded the bubblegum? Better yet-any viable seeds?! BubbleCeril would be nice.

What seeded the BG? Bitch Afghani Dream hermie. It's too bad though because the AD x BOG looks like some killer bud this time. I wouldn't use any of those seed. I have some nice Bubblegum x Blueberry and some 2007 Bubblegum seeds, among the collection. I should grow some more BG seeds made as it's a great strain and the 2007 are getting lowered germination rates.

I put into darkness as a course of habit.
    (1) I've read that the plants are best harvested before dawn.
    (2) I've read that the dark period actually may increase resin production some little bit.

I trimmed the buds and put them into the jars. I screwed up and put the bubblegum plant in jars with the Ceril. Oops. Everything smells real nice already and was dry as hell. I put a fresh leaf in each jar to add some moisture for the cure. Lots of seed in some plants, others hardly have any. Total dry weight is 10 ounces. Not a very long bloom, less than eight weeks but the yield was greatly reduced due to the chilly soil temperature.

Nice grow, Shov. 10 zips of green is better than 10 zs of pond water. I'm sure the BG and Ceril will get along fine in a spliff. 'Bout time to get ready for our outdoor season here. I'm gonna go heavy indica heavy, some kush some aurora some hmmmmm, others. Guess I should log it on here.

It's early for Vt but if one wanted to get a bunch of plants started to pick from and then sex and clone, that would take a while. I can't start until after our vacation.
