Pole shed basement in the middle of nowhere

So I'll be recieving some land in the middle of nowhere as an inherirance. Thinking about building a large pole barn (something like 60'x40') and leaving the floor dirt. Inside of the pole barn, I would dig down 8 feet and then out for whatever rooms ill need..G1, G2, G3, Dry/Trim, Packing, Beds, kitchen, toilet, rec room, etc.. Pour concrete for basement floor then build walls using cinder blocks and mortar. Fill in dirt around walls once concrete is set. Build "roof" to basement, then pour dirt over it. Bury the supersecretundergroundbiolabrotory leaving an area for intake/exhaust, humans, water, power, and supplys. Level out the dirt so it looks exactly how it was except for a small rectangle in the corner. Build some rooms around the hole for storage and other normal things, with the access room secure and unknown. Then pour concrete for the rest of the pole shed floor (optional, or i could build a wood floor).

Escape route - tunnel. Dont know how that would work. Possibly leave a hole in the side of the basement wall then dig a trench out under the barn wall. Build something to support the tunnel then pour the dirt back on top. The tunnel could lead to a small house and a hatch somewhere in the woods.

I would have dogs, a gate, boulders in the way, strategically placed stinging nettles, tazers, video surveilance and FLIR infrared night vision, etc.

Quite the project... Wonder if I could get it going just for the very beginning for 10k, that is..just the bare minimum to get season one going.

Been thinking about it alot. Everything id need to get and do.. Curious to what other knowlegable outsiders think. Ideas, opinions, comments? imp:

Sounds like a lot of work....concrete is not cheap. Concrete is a LOT of work.

Heck just light proof the shed and use it the way it is.

not mention all work must be done by you only.People who deliver supplies,or nosey hunters. will wonder what your deal is .Just cause your in the middle of nowhere doesnt mean you will blend in. if you want rent trac-hoe(and no not one of those gold digging girls who hang out at the race track) dig a hole 10 x 10 8 deep or what ever. Lay up with block. Use pressure treated 4x6 on top. then build simple shed on top.Inside have a little wood stove sitting on a metal plate or somthing.Make it somwhat easy to move cause under there is where your access will be to the basement. Also run all water ,elec, ventilation under ground to there proper places. while having hoe. This can all be done easly going with all good equip, elec. supplies and materials, hoe rental. In the 3-4k price range.Maybe cheaper depending your supplier and area you live. But most of all you can pick up all the supplies yourself with a pickup truck and build discretely. I know this cause i make up things like this in my mind for fun. I would never try such a setup:thumbsup:

I've only seem this done once. It ended badly, but the idea is sound.

Dig the hole to 15 ft. Drop in a shipping container. Cut your entrance and bury the rest. If you wanted to link them or row them,...thats a lotta dirt to move....have fun.

there was a guy here that did something simalar used a 40 foot long drainage pipe with a 12" Diameter it was under a metal carport that had a slide away floor and also used smaller drainage pipe for an escape tunnel. he used it to process some other drugs he was messing with and got busted running in the gulf
