i have a new box im making and upgrading my light.

the choises for this weekends sale are

COMPLETE 1000 WATT AIRCOOLED SET UPS $215
COMPLETE 600 WATT AIRCOOLED DIGITAL SET UPS $215
GOOD NATURE 1000 WATT ELECTRONIC BALLASTS $200
6" AIRCOOLED HOODS $65
1000 HPS BULBS $30


was gonna get the 1000 watt hps combo for 260 before i heard about this sale. but now i can eaither get the 100 magnetic or 600 watt digital setup for $45 leass than i was going to spend. or
get the 1000 watt digital ballast combined with 6" hood and hps bulb for $35 more than I was gonna spend.

which would be best suited for the box design in this thread?

will the 600 digital vs the 1000 magnetic produce about the same results? im confused

the flower would be 4x4x8' so i think thats 16sqf at 50 watts per is 800 watts needed.


600 watts divided by 16sf would be 37.5 watts per sf.
1000 watts divided by 16sf would be 62.5 watts per sf.

dont know whether to push more light or underpower it.
ive heard the digitals have better output than the magnetic?

id go with the 1000w personally...........more light = MORE BUD

the magnetic 100watt set for $215
or the digital 1000watt ballast, 6" air cooled hood, and 100watt bulb for total of $295

is the magnetic ballast that much better for the extra $80
