    Bud Problem!!!

Well not so much problem as dilemma. As a noob, I made a few mistakes and my plants are a little behind in flowering. The strain shown is Female Seeds Grapefruit. They are on their 7th week of flowering and they are supposedly an 8 week strain. I am going to give them nutes an extra week (8 weeks) and then flush for atleast a week until they are done. Does that sound good? I have a microscope but it is 60-100x and my hands suffer from micro-tremors (shaky hands). Trichomes appear clear still, but I cant really get a clear view. Does my plan sound reasonable? Or should I just start flushing on the start of the 8th week and wait til they are ripe to pull? I don't want to cut nutes while the buds are swelling so fast, but at the same time I don't want to wait too long and not get a proper flush.

they didnt start packing on the crystals til 6 weeks in and the buds look rather small, they aremostly white hairs still. I hope they arent more than a week or two behind! they smell soo good i can't wait to try.

Here are a couple pictures of the Grapefruits. First 2 are my good plants, 3rd is a giant plant with buds that are behind the others. How far along do they seem? What will the long cola yield? Just a few questions some experts much be able to help with. BTW that is a 15'' ruler, not a 12''

    Bud Problem!!!

what for lights are you using? Also i would not go by the breeder flowering time to strict. Due to the fact every plant finishes differently. try to go by the trichromes. All cloudy with some amber is what i like. Stop feeding 2 weeks before harvest. some do it shorter, but whatever works for you. I would go ahead and feed cause you have aleast 3 weeks. from the pics. Also the type or amount of light the plant is receiving, could also slow it down and cause thin lanky buds...

    Bud Problem!!!

i am flowering under a 1000w hps. my light is a little closer to the top of the taller ones than i'd like, but with my a/c pumping into the tent and my fans, the ambient temp is 75-80 at the plant tops at all times.

Thanks for the 3 week mark! I was thinking i was just paranoid and making another noob mistake.

    I appreciate the input. thanks!!!
