Is Cannabis a Gateway Drug?

I believe it is. Not in the way that the D.A.R.E. program says it is. I think that it is a Gateway drug because of the people you must associate with in order to get pot. They RARELY have access to only pot. Usually, you can get what you want. And if you're not sure, they will even give you a little taste for free!

Once again, I believe that cannabis is a Gateway drug ONLY because of where MOST people have to go to get it.

No, Really what you describe is a full blown Pusher. Dealers sell and don't give freebee's cause they hate a moooch.
Pushers on the other hand keep lesser drugs around to bait the not so smart ones into a heavier drug. Their glad to get you started on the addiction highway.
