Relatively new to rolling my own joints

why do people have a hard time rolling joints,it doesnt take a genious...break the weed up spread evenly on the paper roll it up n down fold over roll up lick the sticky mend together....

i can roll one with my eyes closed,in the dark,its not hard at all to roll a doobie.....

Took me a while before I could roll a pretty J.
I'm a smoker, and actually got a pack of rollies, just so I could practice.

Relatively new to rolling my own joints I've been smoking weed for a bit now but I never roll my own because I'm always with people who know how to roll properly, most of them are smokers. I've seen how people do it (using rizla filter papers, rolling tobacco and cardboard roach) but I have no idea about which parts of the weed you can use (what do the buds look like?), how you cut the bits you need and what you don't need (without a grinder), how much to put in or even how to roll the thing (I don't smoke you see).
