Ok, I am very new to all of this. I have only actually been smoking a couple days, but am reading and ready to learn.

I have seen different posts about soil, I am a com-poster. Have been "growing" my thick black dirt for a couple years now. I have a huge outdoor compost bin that we put food scraps in, no raw meats, however.

The dirt pile keeps growing, and I have not used it.

Would this be soil worthy of growing in? Should I start adding anything now to make the soil healthier? Or just keep reading and purchase my soil when my time comes?

Thanks!!

Side Note: Last year I had tomato plants sprout through my compost bin.. I guess some of the seeds from tomatoes thrown out managed to grow. Was really a weird thing to see, at least for me.
