I'd rather have caterpillars than spider mites. I've heard rumors they're like tequila worms and you can smoke them. Here's ER's take on exterminating them: Rapacious caterpillar | Cannabis Culture Magazine

Sorry to be a jerk but you were already pushing it. The way you described your plants over a week ago, this past weekend probably would of been prime to chop. Pillars aren't too hard to get rid of, and don't leave as much of a mess like mites. Could still use the buds & sugarleaves for bubble hash.

Oh good! Glad you harvested. The pillars should make their way out soon enough. I wouldn't sweat it. Dry & cure properly and you got yourself some nice meds.

Ok, so I'm checking tricomes on my last plant and a spider mite marches accross my field of view. I chopped the plant let it dry trim and jar and have seen no further indication of mites. My question is what's the worst that can happen? Smoke some mites?

That's about it. Mites are bad earlier on when they can kill your plant and you lose your harvest. If you made it all the way to harvest, I wouldn't worry. Just imagine all the bugs in outdoor grows that have gone up in smoke over the years.

I used to buy bags of outdoor in college that would have caterpillars in them. Sometimes I'd get a few caterpillars in one 8th. They don't seem to do any damage... I just picked them out. Of course some douchbag, fraternity-types would smoke them, but I don't think it's doing you or the caterpillar any good to smoke it up:thumbsup:
