Very new.. started with seeds.

not quite sure what's going on with them now.. I haven't changed lights or anything.. The true leaves are starting to fold back up(towards the stem) on some of them.. They were all spread wide before, and are now folding back.. The stem is finally starting to pull about 3/8 of an inch away from the first leaves(cotyledons). Am i not providing them with enough light, or what? I dont want them to die

When i say 'fold up' i do mean UP, not down as if they were being overwatered..

Ah, lol. Are you a purely hyro grower? From what i've seen if your current grow, you're incredible. I'd kinda like to post pictures and get an opinion of how well my plants are doing at this time.. but i'm kind of frightened to do so.. since i live in an illegal area.. I just want them to do well... Do you have any suggestions as for how tall i should grow before i take a harvest? Or anything of that sort? Like i said, i'm VERY new, and would like any and all suggestions.

As for the light movers, i'll see what i can dig up on this here interweb.

How tall before harvest?
Well, if you want them 30-36" tall when harvest you should switch the lights to 12/12 when they are about 12" tall. The rest depends on how much you expect to yield at harvest. Unless you have some uber great lighting it will be diff to get good lighting to the lower buds if you let them get too big.

Live in an illegal area?
Someone set me strait on that aspect. Yes, there is a small chance someone might catch you on here and read all your post, pics or no pics, and somehow manage to con a judge into a warrant but that is very unlikely. How many sites are there about growing cannabis vs how many of them are being monitored? IDK but I bet the ratio is pretty low. Plus, If every page on every sight was watched the bad guys (lol) would spend their time busting the illegal growers with 200 huge plants before they bust a small timer so... the choice is yours, you're already posted that you're growing, why not add pics?

I'm using four 4' fluoros now, with four CFL's too with pretty good results.

I got my light fixtures at wallyworld for about 15 bucks each, they have built in reflectors and the whole thing has a chrome-like finish. The fluoro tubes I got, Philips 32w 2800 lumens 6500k color temp, were 15 bucks for a two pack at HD. The four CFL's I got were at HD too, a four pack for 6 bucks...

And, when you switch to flowering the philips 32w 2800 lumens 2700k bulbs are the same price as the 6500's.

Wally world it is! Are yours just standard shop fluoro tubes? or are they grow tubes? And, do you have any idea why my true leaves are starting to aim back towards the light? they were all laying down pretty well before, but are starting to stand up now, if you look at the pictures i posted, you'll see it.
