Probably get flamed but mostly question for stinkyattic
I'm new here 23 years old from ny I have a wonderull gf and job. Even though I make good money my 100 dollar quarters every 2 days is starting to take it's toll on my bank account. I currently do construction and heating air conditioning and ventilation so ventilation and building whatever I need to won't be a problem. My main concern is what will be best for my application. I will be getting an apartment soon and will most likely be using a closet. I would like to do an indoor grow whcih will produce the best strain I can. I'm use to sour diesel and kush. So if anyone can point me in the right direction of where to even start or what kind of grow I need. I only need to grow a plant or two to feed my habit will not sell as I am not tryin to make money. So if someone can start me off where the best place to get seeds in ny. Optimal lighting and venting and heating. And then step by step for a noobb. For all the people willing to help me Ty and for all the people gonna flame me instead light up a bowl.
. Thx all

Hope everythings ok. And yea I think almost to much info. Lol I dunno where to start. Like can I even get seeds shipped to by? How many different style of growing is there. Regular seeds planting in dirt or hydroponic? I have no clue that's why I was trying to get a start at what would best suit what I'm going for

why is there no start to finish FAQ on how to grow MJ here? mostly the FAQ's are about specific techniques that most people skip over because they dont think they are at that particular stage. Grow room setup, molasses, tricky lighting, most people dont want to bother with this stuff. They want someone to tell them to go get a bag of miracle grow, mix with perlite and plop in the seed (which they also need a finger pointed too) then water every 3 days. And what's wrong with that really? It works, it damn sure works. That's why people continue to be lost on these forums, they dont know where to begin. not that I know first hand but attitude seed bank seems to be a really popular site. Mr. Nice .nl would be one that I could attest too.

perhaps you should try a book. maybe this one.
when you read the forum take notes. use google. take more notes. when you make notes, you are directly responsible for the information, so that's on no one but yourself.
if you have specific questions, that show you've done some research many people will be willing to chime in with advice. it's not that people don't want to help out, but we get the SAME questions DAY AFTER DAY. shit get's old. especially when the one asking the questions shows no sign of any responsibility for learning on their end. no one is here to spoon feed you. we volunteer our time. so if we don't volunteer it to answer your question (or give you the answer you want) perhaps you should think about why your question didn't get answered and proceed accordingly.

I would suggest to wait until you move and have the designated growing space. Then your first step would be construction. Sealing the room, running ventilation and exhaust, setting up the lights. Once all this is done, run your lights and exhaust for a few days to ensure there won't be any heat issues. Try to maintain a temp around 70*F to 75*F.
After all this is done you will know exactly how much room you have left to grow. Which can dictate growing style. Also while this time is elapsing, read everything you can on hydro and soil. By the time the room is ready you will know which way you'll want to go.
As far as seeds go, I am very pleased with Attitude.
Good luck and happy growing :hippy:
