Just found out about it, so he will be only 8 days clean. He is a very heavy smoker. Shaved his head before he found out about the test, which means he now has to treat all of his body hair instead. Going to use the Jerry G method I found on that other thread. Anyone use this method on body hair before? Success, failures, advice? Do we have to redye body hair each time we bleach it, or just the day of so it doesn't Rating: 5

Took the test. After all the toxic shampoos we used this morning, the black dye was barely noticeable. Used TW, then Zydot, then Magnum Detox. Very, very red skin.

The medical assistant was really nice, though, we got lucky. Gave her the story about the allergic reaction. I could tell she didn't totally buy it, but she didn't appear to care.

Now we've got about a week to wait. I'm really freakin nervous. Way too much riding on this to fail.

Failed. After all that prep. Very disheartening. Maybe it's because they tested armpit hair and it's a lot coarser than head hair...

NOOooooo!!!! Sorry to hear, but good to know. I've never had to face the situation yet, but don't look forward to it if I ever do.

Too bad. I hate it when people fail.

I suspect you failed because you only did one real bleach and redye. The first one did not count, you left out the bleach.

I think three treatments are needed for heavy smokers. Four is even better.

Actually we did do two real bleach/dyes, but since he's such a heavy smoker we really needed three to four. There's simply no way to do all that in just over a week I guess. If we had a month to prep, it would've worked.

No way to fix it now. Next few years are really gonna suck. Can't wait to move somewhere where at least med. pot is legal. Thanks for all the help and support from everyone here.. much appreciated.
