Let's presume that lack of room inside or outside is not an issue. Nor is time, money to get started, learning curve, security, nor any of the usual impediments one can expect to encounter in the real world.

As a baseline, how much cured bud does it take to medicate myself (late-50's 190 lb male) once a day year 'round? And working backwards from there, how many plants does it take to produce that typically?

Indoor with 3 crops per year.

Outdoor with 1 crop a year.

Thanks!
I had to giggle when I read this. I guess you need to leave room for a bed and a computer desk. Other than that, fill the place up!
Seriously, when I find myself on hard times.... like right now, when there are no meds to be had, I can stretch a 1/4 oz out for a long long time. When it becomes abundant, I seem to be capable of using quite a bit more. It all depends on the situation for me... but I have trouble imagining where I would draw the line that said I had too much.
