It would take a long long long time. Some strains out there are clone only and have been around 10,15, even 20+ years. You wont need to worry about losing potency.

Rusty did not write that the clones get weaker. He wrote: An overcloned plants, meaning the mother plants that you are taking clones from, not the clones themselves.

I'm doing this ATM, tho my mums are only a few months old.
Claims of 10+ year old moms are far from un-heard of.

LOL! That's the way to do it! I kinda jumped in feet first, and got my ass kicked for it.

Doing that just ensures that you don't run a mother ragged over the years, but even taking clones of a mother, many clone generations later, you still have a carbon copy.

well explain this for rusty:'But the enviornment determines how the plant(s) will react in any given situation, and is not limited to one singular response.'
ok now if that is true and im controlling the enviroment and the enviroment is controlling the plant.cant i make the plants grow the way i want?
and by me taking the healthiest clone each time, allowing them to be more stronger, and able to handle more stress.
im just triing to get different peoples ideas on this.
