My local nursery is in a town of about 25,000. HEAVILY Mennonite. I walked in, told them what I was looking for and of course got asked about my crop. I paused a second and smiled. She immediately knew and proceeded to HOOK me up at her manager's request. I walked out paying $10 for what I came for and with between $30-40 in freebies and a permanent 20% medical need discount.
I was told that they carry full-lines of supplies for my garden, but generally keep most of them out of sight because of the conservative nature of most of their customers. I'm leagl in Cali so I know it's probably a whole different situation, but around here, even if they don't necessarily agree with it, they understand that we are a group of "farmers" that spare no expense when it comes to our crops. Almost feels like a high-roller walking into a casino. Comps all around.
