My Story / Kroll (Will Post Conclusion)
Hi everyone. Here's my story: I'm 42 and was laid off in March after 10 years with the same company. I found a new job in July that started on August 2nd. Since I found that job, on Friday 8/27 and Saturday 8/28, I hit some good bowls and joints of weed (called AK-47 if that helps), approx. a dozen times over those two days. Prior to that, I had only a few hits from a bowl on 7/23 (after I got the job).
As it turns out, around a month ago, I figured out that the job wasn't a good fit. Now, I have another one lined up (that I think will be much better), but I had to pass a pre-employment screen. I donated my urine sample yesterday afternoon, and it was sent Fed Ex to Kroll in LA for testing.
Facts:
- I'm 42, 5' 8" tall, 205 pounds.
- I'd say that my metabolism is slow, I don't exercise.
- 47 days passed from last hit until the test yesterday.
- Took a Walgreens test two weeks ago in the afternoon, and both lines were very visible. Per the instructions, it was a clear negative test at the time.
- Prior to smoking the few hits in July, and the weekend of 8/27 and 8/28, I had not smoked in almost a year.
I obviously wish now that I hadn't smoked in July and August, but I'm hopeful that I will pass. I'll definitely come back here to give the results. Please share any input or comments, since I am a bit nervous about how thorough the test is by Kroll. Thanks to everyone here for all of the great information and support.FortySomething Reviewed by FortySomething on . My Story / Kroll (Will Post Conclusion) Hi everyone. My Story / Kroll (Will Post Conclusion)
Looks like I passed. I got word this afternoon that "everything checked out o.k." I realize that my experience isn't anywhere near as dire as most of the posts on this board, but I wanted to share anyways. Even borderline cases like mine can be measured, and hopefully this will help someone else out that's in a similar situation.
Thanks to everyone for the information here. I started reading for some relief last week, and I found it.
