Low Heat Lighting.
I am trying to find a low heat lighting with similar results as a 250-400w HID. It seems I will have to choose between LED and induction lighting. I am not sure LED will be the way to go, but this one induction light seems like it might be good;
200 Watt Induction Grow Light - NewAge Lights
that light is a 200w for $359, and they claim it compares to a 600-800w hid, so i think it should have me covered. They also have some decent looking LED lights too.
Is this a reliable place to get reliable lights and/or what would you suggest for a low heat solution?Zompton Reviewed by Zompton on . Low Heat Lighting. I read that in order to get the light production of 400w HID using the florescent it will actually be hotter than the HID, not to mention I would need a ton of lights.

CFL's are the worse choice....IMO

HID 400 watt works best for me......and no huge heat output.

Low Heat Lighting.
I am currently using a 400w HID, and it is too much heat. I am trying to convert my box into a slightly smaller stealth box, and not having to have a heat duct system and heavy fans will save on space and noise, so whats my best bet to replace my 400w HID?

Aww come on now, there is induction lighting and LED, plus I have the cash to get either so one has got to be worth a damn.

Im relatively new to growing.....and started myself with info and diagrams gleaned from this site. I Use the 400 HID and have a pretty decent 2nd generation taking shape. It works for me. There are so many variations this amazing weed can grow its almost silly to debate which is the best......an old neighbor of mine actually did this amazing marijuana banzai trees type of thing. He clipped the plants down real small and fancy looking and harvested them out of his window. Amazing plant.
