grow room for beginners?

I am currently 6 days into my seed germination/root developing.. so far I have 27 thriving plants (bag seeds) and this is my first grow.

The question is how do I start a grow room? I have seen a million posts on the subject and was overwhelmed with business about lights, nutrients and ventilation, and found very little on rooms, just light boxes.

The room is aprox 16x12 and at the far end of the house.

My primary concern at this point is the actual room. (and nutrients at this point)

Then I will have questions with lights, and ventilation :rasta:

Welcome, you have found the right place. :jointsmile:

my personal advice, since this is your first grow is keep it simple. White paint or mylar on the walls for good soft reflection. Maybe CFL lights for flowering and late veg, find the highest wattage you can and add more toward the flowering stage. Those simple "grow light" flo's from wally world worked outstanding for me for veging the young 'uns. :greenthumb:

Nutes primer, you have three main nutrients, that are shown in ratios like a:b:c. you start with one mix during the veg and switch to a different mix later for flower. Some will laugh but I've actually had good luck with the wally world nutes as long as you get the ratio correct for the stage your in.

oh yeah, most important tip of all ... DO NOT TELL ANYONE! it has to be totally stealth here in the bible belt.
