Environment: I live in a valley in the foothills off Highway 128 between Napa and Winters at 175' elevation with a good southern exposure and reliable well water. The native soil is pretty heavy, but I can build it up as I do for veggie gardening. Can any experienced NorCal growers recommend a variety for this environment?
