Outdoor plants and freezing temps

Is there any way I can keep my plants out a little longer without killing them when it freezes? The weather says that by friday its supposed hit a low of 33 for 2 days in a row then get warmer again. Im scared that it will get below that and have something bad happen. They were started out door, brought indoor bu then got too damn big so I took them back out and put them in the ground back in August and they are freaking THRIVING but they are not even close to done yet. Its an outdoor strain if that makes any difference...

Thats your call Boss. Id say they would be ok. Its not gonna freeze. You said they said 33. Worse come to worse cover um up if yea can. I pulled all mine already. So, good luck but youll be fine:thumbsup:

Well if you toss a blanket over the plant after the sun goes down, then as soon as you or the plant rather See's the sun, uncover it. A friend of mine has done this lots with all plants pulling through. He said that with a heavy frost the tips where the blanket touched the branches got a bit black, but we are talking some spots and way better then taking it early:thumbsup:

I built a cold frame for mine. Also, with plants in general, not just these, a good watering before a cold night will help them survive the cold.
