Late-50's cancer and blunt-force amputation survivor. The hand was reattached, but still have persistent pain issues, plus migraines and arthritis in lower legs. A typical older wreck, in other words.

But I held onto my US Gov't job and am now retired on modest acreage a little more than an hour's drive from SF with veggie garden, fruit trees and vines. Have been considering getting a 215 card and growing a few mmj plants to address the pain issues, but just haven't taken the last steps. I want to grow my own, as mmj prices just seem too high for my fixed income.

BTW, my real name translates to English as "stone meadow"...hence my username.
