flowers ready, I am not...
Help. I don't have time to keep up with my harvest - and the gals are more than ready. Is there something I can do to slow things down and/or preserve the bud until I have time? I was thinking I could cut and hang the entire plant until I can get to it, but worry that it will become too dry by then. Snip off the yet to be trimmed bud and put them in jars or paper bags? Reduce the light and keep them growing at a slower rate? BTW, I cannot practically hire or enlist someone to help. Ideas? Thank you.

if you cut-n-hang, do it in a small room/large closet w/humidifier. in a pinch, a bucket 3/4 full of water with a couple airstones hooked up to a compressor keeps me at 50% in Colorado. At about a 5 days to a week they are perfect for trimming, at which point you should jar and try to maintain 55-60% to cure..

I try to do a little bit every evening after work. Due to recent circumstances beyond my control, I don't have a lot of extra time even on the weekends. Unfortunately, it takes me a day or two or three to cut even one plant, and at that rate it will take me a month or so do cut all of them. Ironically, it has been a bountiful harvest this time around. Thanks.

7 days @ 50% RH is going to get you ready for jarring/curing. Shouldn't mold. Run the risk of overdrying but thats better than getting mold. You can rehydrate it a bit later if worse comes to worse. Also chopping the whole plant at its trunk, and hanging upside down that way will assist in slowing the drying process down and won't take very long. Then as you have time over the next week, start your trim work, squeezing as much trimming time in as possible.
Don't have a buddy that can help out?

would'nt it be neat if they came out with a smaller version for the home grower about 1/3 the size...

as a matter of fact...
hang>dry>trim produces the most beautiful buds, doesn't get you all sticky, isn't nearly as stinky, and is easier than trimming wet.
no thanks on machine trimmed buds for me
please report back after you give it a shot! :rastasmoke:
