Its well worth the money but if you have one or two plants you can try 'Ona' to help reduce the smell but I prefer the carbon filter.

I just cracked open some Ona Pro for a very stinky closet and it was under control w/i a few hours. Super pleased with it too. I also got a plug into the wall carbon filter at Home Depot that didn't do as much. Ona was pretty cheap.

Properly sized and with the correct airflow carbon filters are very effective. Small grows can just use ono or an air ionizer can help a great deal. If it's REALLY stinky, use them all at once! Those little plugin air fresheners will work if you get the right scent. Mines so small I can just use Fabreeze! LOL! I don't use anything unless the rare visitor shows up cuz I LOVE that smell!

You know for sure your a head when you drive down the road and smell a dead skunk and think it smells good! LMAO!

I\'m so old, I can remember buying \"lids\" of weed for $10 and it had nothing to do with weight or jars, it was just as much as you could cram into a sandwich bag...Me

Ona is great stuff. I use the Ona in addition to carbon filtration. You would never know there are plants in the house. (and there are some pretty pungent girls in residence)

Oh, and just in case you didn't know...

You can re-hydrate the Ona _several_ times.
I caught a friend tossing one out and asked him what the heck he was doing. He's been tossing them after a single use, for years. He didn't know all ya had to do was refill with water, and shake 'er up! If the odor is mild, you can get a lot of mileage out of a single jar. Since I only use it to mask the slight trace left after the carbon filter, a single jar can last me nearly a year.

Holy crap cartman I did not know you could do that. Ive tossed them as well. Are you talking about the ona gel stuff or the solid chunk thing?

Carbon filters work good. If you have especially stinky ladies then a small odor can pass through and if its not checked then you can end up with a very obvious odor build up in a room over several hours.

I need to get a jar of ona for my grow area since the smell is starting to pass through the filter and building up.

I was referring to the gel. Never seen one of those solid "chunk" thingies.

I run into that toward the end of the filter carbons life. If I have to crank the fan speed up, a little odor sneaks through. Sometimes giving the filter a couple sharp raps (like fixing an old TV, ) will shift the carbon around enough to give a path through some fresher carbon. The Ona does a great job on what little gets through.
