    Should I scrog?

My plants are doing well with only a few issues that I can handle but I already know that I'm going to run out of vertical room and end up w/ poor light pen. I've thought of several ways to up the penitration but every way I can think of, besides scrog, would involve adding a lot of vertical lights and my temps are already runnin at the max Im comfy with.

HERE is my current grow, my first as well, and I'd like to hear what ya'll think bout me going scrog. Especialy peeps that have quite a bit of scrog experience.

If I were to go this route I think now would be the best time. My healthiest plant is about 11" tall and since I clipped some fans the undergrowth is growing like crazy now, its shooting up quickly and I'd like to make this desicion before much longer.

Also, would 2"x2" hardware cloth be best or would basically making my own screen out of small cotton twine be best? Metal or cotton?

    Thanks

    Should I scrog?

Scrog IMO is a great technique. I'm working one right now, day 20 into flowering. It's already showing FAR more promise than either of the other 2 natural plants of that same strain that I've done.

Biggest bitch about Scrog is hermies and males (If you haven't sexed your plants, or your strain is unstable, ask me how I know! )

As for the medium for the screen, I'm using chicken wire, a buddy of mine uses plastic fence mesh with about a 1.5" square. One of the Dispensary's I frequent the grow room for uses metal garden fencing with a 2x3" opening. It's kinda personal preference,... but metal or plastic would be better than cotton,.... the cotton won't mar the stems like metal,... but I'm sure it'll stick to all your trichs!
