Carbon scrubberI have a carbon filter that I want to set up as a scrubber. I don't want to loose any of my co2 so I would basically just hook my online fan to the carbon filter and hang it from the roof. No ducting to vent it out of the room correct?? burnzo01 Reviewed by burnzo01 on . Carbon scrubber I have a carbon filter that I want to set up as a scrubber. Carbon scrubberNo.

A lot of us use carbon scrubbers. I built my own actually.

There really no reason why what you want to do wont work.

Of course, exhausting the heat and bringing in fresh air is always a good idea but hey, dont wanna exhaust your co2 right? Then theres only so much you can do.

This is just one of those answers that THIS could have worked a lot better that starting a thread.

I'm new to this forum still but I was admin for a psp hacking site for a couple years and I can tell ya that most peeps will only help peeps that help themselves. If someone were to show up and start a thread about every question they could easily find themselves it would quickly turn into a nightmare. I always tell new peeps at forums to try finding the answer themselves first, especialy easy ones, before starting threads. If folks see that you atleast try to find the answers yourself before starting threads they'd be more willing to help you.

Carbon scrubberObviously I did some research b4 I asked. I didn't start by saying what's a carbon filter for and why would it take c02 out if it was used vent style? Most people don't even know that much. I'm sorry this is my very first grow and I thought the whole point of a discussion forum was to discuss things. My bad guess I need a phd b4 my questions are "worth" answering.

Carbon scrubberIm not saying that any questions are not worth answering.

Im on my first grow too and I'd rather ask a stupid question that make a stupid mistake.

Im sorry if I seem like an ass but I just thought this answer could have been easily answered with a quick search. Most are.

Google, and most other search engines, work great if you use them, thats all I was really trying to point out. THIS works great too if you wanna just search on site.

And I did answer your question, even misspelled it too. :rastasmoke:

Carbon scrubberIt's all good man I appreciate ur help and advice. Just seems like I've delt with a lot of pricks that when I ask a ? They try n make me look stupid like I should be a botanist before I attempt a grow. I've read a 600 page book (Gregg greens) grow bible from cover to cover twice. My ? just didn't seem to get covered in there. Again thanks for the help. Starting to flower next weekend, can't wait.
