    My Quickfix story

It has been an awful last 7 days. I was finally offered a good job, with 6 figure potential within 5 years. There is no way in hell I could have passed...so I went the sub route with QuickFix 5.7.

Like I said, if I'd had known it was gonna be this nerve wracking, I would have just gotten clean. Even though I'm a heavy, HEAVY smoker (for years), I don't think it would take longer than 3 weeks, and trust me, 3 weeks with no weed would be better than what I've been through.

But this job just came out of nowhere, I wasn't given the option of time.

Luckily, when they offered me the job (and told me to, I went home, checked the mail, and the QF was there. It was fate, I thought. I'm glad I ordered it when I did. The whole subbing experience was pretty gut wrenching, but I got the temp right. It was a little neon yellow, but that doesn't prove anything.

I assume I was gonna pass; I spent hours, DAYS reading forums, boards, etc., and I decided that QF was the way to go.

I took the test last Monday.

Initially, the manager told me that I should be good to go by Wednesday (of last week, last Wed), and that he'd be calling me then to tell me to put my notice in at my current job.

At first I assumed that no news was good news. Wednesday came and went, so did Thursday, by Friday I didn't hear anything. I for sure thought they'd call me Saturday. They didn't. Granted, Sat is their busiest day.

But when I didn't have a missed call when I woke up this afternoon, I really was worried. Actually, since about Thursday I've been scared shitless that I failed. Like I said, I researched, figured that was the best way for me to handle the drug test. But then my paranoia set in (I'm naturally kind of that way :-( ), and I figured that I failed and that they just weren't gonna call me. So I figured that I blew it.

So cut to today, a full week later. I had to practically stalk the guy (he's hard to get ahold of by phone), finally he answered. I also have to undergo a fairly thorough background check He told me that he still was gonna call me when he knows something, BUT that he was only waiting for the criminal and motor vehicle report to come back (of which it won't be a problem, clean record, 1 ticket in 3 years).

So I assume that since he's no longer waiting on the DT results, I must have passed! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! My god, it's been a rough week. I'd just die if I missed out on an opportunity like this over weed.

I actually feel bad being impatient (and I hope it doesn't look bad on my part), but it's a sales job and even if they're annoyed, I'm sure they look at being persistent as a positive work trait.

I am 100% sure I'll pass the other checks, and about 98% sure I passed the drug test, based on the conversation today.

    I am so ****ing PARANOID!

But it seems as if it worked out.

    QF works! I'd recommend it.

Congrats, I'm going with this, too. Where did you order it from?
