Weird Coloring ??
This plant is about 18 days old and has had these markings from day one. Four other seeds of same genetics were popped at the same time. None of the other plants have these markings. Has anyone ran into this before??:wtf:
If needed I will fill out the troubleshooting form, but I'm wondering if it is a problem at all. Anyway, let me know if you need more info. :hippy:tikiroom Reviewed by tikiroom on . Weird Coloring ?? Weird Coloring ??
Hmm that is strange. It appears the plant is having trouble holding chlorophyll in the leaves. Are you fertilizing it ? and is your ph level ok? another possibility is that the plant is just genetically weak. which nutes are you using

I've got a vanilla mood from DJshort that's growing all screwy too. Mottled leaves and severly distorted (looks like someone took a cheese grater to the leaves!
)
The other one that I cracked is fine tho. I'm thinking that something got cocked up in the genetic mix for that particular bean. I'm going to just pull it and keep my fingers crossed that the other one is a girl.

It is on about 3/4 strength nutrients at the moment. PH has been steady around 5.4 to 5.7.
The other weird thing about it is the other plants all had a leaf damaging deficiency, but this one was not effected. It also is the stockiest and looks like it will be the bushiest of them all. :detective1:
Here a some pics of the other girls (fingers crossed) in the same container.
If you're interested here's a link to the grow log for these girls.

Weird Coloring ??
It's been awhile.
My plants got attacked by some "monster jelly" and it was a pain in the ass to get rid of it! The jelly (and I) ended up killing all but one! :cursing:
And wouldn't you know it, the only survivor is the weird colored one.
Anyone have any ideas of what this could be?

DITCH the white under the leaves. Bad news. That might be all it is. Plants do not expect reflected light from below.
Fill out the troubleshooting form too. (the one in my signature is for soil) Give us a full shot at figuring this out. I see the coloration often on clones that have been shocked a little going from cube to potting mix, but they always grow out of it soon.
Pardon my lack of knowledge, but what is monster jelly?
