i started all these as small clones with cfl, then i added the 175 watt merc vapor. when i had two of the same strain i had four 18 watt (75 watt eq.) over one and put the merc over the other, i noticed a diff in the one that had the merc over it. it grew faster than the one with the cfl. having hid lights is deff better but the grow time is slower with cfl. the way its looking is taht is the only downfall, waitingtybo29 Reviewed by tybo29 on . Using CFLs will slow overall grow time of an autoflower? I'm using CFLs right now and the package reads 8-9 weeks from seed to harvest. I harvested on the 9th week on my first, I kind of feel maybe I didn't wait long enough though. Just not as strong of a high as I would like. Anyways I'm into the 10th week now on my 2nd one and the trichomes are starting to get a good ratio of amber to cloudy. I'm just wondering if CFLs would make an autoflower's overall grow time just a bit longer. Plant also had a mold problem early on which I fixed, but may Rating: 5
