Small brown spots on leaves - worried?!
Most my leaves are getting these tiny brown spots on leaves. Not sure it's nute burn, light or pests. I am reading that using distilled/ro needs calmag but thought there be enough in nutes I am running.
Here is my setup:
Strain: Bag Seed
Age: Aprox 24 days from germ.
Light: (2) 26watt CFL per plant 6500k about 2 inches away
nutes: flora micro and flora bloom - 1/2 to 3/4 strength at moment (22ml/5 gals micro and 32ml/5 gals bloom)
Water: RO water every change <20ppm and Ph at 5.8 steady.
Temp: 77F in closet.
Vent: 4" fan in and 4" sucking out.

Get a magnifying glass and look at the underside of the leaf. I'd bet bank that you'll see the little mites from hell. Absolutely undetectable with your bare eye so don't even try. I've seen this symptom a lot.

I had the same problem, and I assumed it was calcium deficiency after I gave my Ph the all clear (using r/o water). I fixed my problem by getting sea-shells from the ocean for what if I recall correctly is calcium carbonate. Ground some up, sprinkled it on top of the soil, and even went as far as to grind some up and put them in water, and then water the plant. All of my rust spots have disappeared. I would do some more research and make absolutely sure that is the problem though. No two plant problems are the same. Thoroughly diagnose your plants before you do anything to the soil, especially check your Ph, makes it much easier than trying to correct wrecked soil.

Small brown spots on leaves - worried?!
Im growing in fishfarm organic soil. I'm three weeks in and want to start flowering. My plants are 23" tall. Ive added earth juice big bloomin guano and earth juice meta k potassium to my water to start flowering. During vegging, I used Alaska 5-1-1 fertizier. My question is, will I have too many nutz or nutz burn because of the "food" allready in the fishfarm soil? I've noticed my bottom fan leaves are starting to turn yellow. Not all of them but just a few.

Maybe repot to larger pot, carefully, and finish it out. Might just be root bound. Start your own thread, use the form in my signature too.
