EZ Clone first time Question

Ok this is not help but Im curious, Why clip the leaves?

I only ask cause Im gonna be cloning soon, no EZ Cloner for me though, just soil.

Well, you will have a better chance of being successful with less leaves. The problem is, a plant will work hard to provide for its leaves. When you have a lot of leaves and no roots that can support the leaves, then chances are it will not be able to do it.

My cuttings have been in the ez cloner for 6 days, I dont see any roots starting yet but they still look green. Could someone look at the pics and let me know if this looks normal?
