My first round and some of my outdoor girlies are about done. Today I scored a kid's "videoscope" at a garage sale that does 20x and 50x. Not sure what a videoscope does compared to a microscope, but for $1.50, I'm sure it'll work just fine.
I know what I'm looking for as far as trichs, but I'm not going to sit in my yard with this scope and make my neighbors wonder about me. I also don't want to pick a bud and bring it in and find out it was waaaay too early either. My outdoor plants were kept small, so I don't want to take anything too early, since there isn't that much to take. So, can I scope a little leaf next to a bud and get a good idea of trich color that way?
I have some flowering indoors as well. The outdoor ones are several weeks ahead and are kind of my testers.
