How much can they go through before they die

I pretty much started out with 14 party cups with cheap walmart dirt and bag seeds. My first transplant from party cups to 2 liter containers was pretty bad to say the least. They all survived some how. After a couple weeks i transplanted into 7 liter trash cans and it went well except for killing one by knocking a fan over onto it. Anyways im on day 38 I think and they are pretty small but still alive. The first pic is from around 4 days and it was the sickest looking one. The second pic is from around a couple weeks right after transplant. They are a little droopy but the purked right up after a day. The 3rd pic is my ghetto grow room haha. and the last pic was last week. I know they are not as big as they should be but they have been through alot. Ill keep updating for anyone curious to see what not to do haha. Feel free to leave any feedback or criticism

    1. 6500k fluoroescent tubes are cooler and cover better for the first 3 weeks...IMO. You can use T-12's, T-8's, T-5's or PL-L's.
6500k is most important, the first 3 weeks. (90 degrees is too hot.)

    2. add 20% perlite to you soil mix and make sure there are extra drainage holes in the cups/pots...

    3. enjoy your grow & try Nirvana seeds, next time......I recommend any of the 'white strains'

I do have some white widow seeds I got from a friend. I just didnt want to jump right into growing them. Im also gonna use mh/hps for them. I wanted to have that lighting already but cant afford it at the time but I should have it by the time i start my next one hopefully. This is basically just my crash course 101 haha. Thanks for the input. I will try the fl tubes for the beginning of my next one

i highly recommend that you invest in a way to measure PH levels..pens are preferred for soil grows but the liquid kits sold for aquariums will do in a pinch.

Get little things along the way. As far as geting nirvana seeds.i have had sucess with northern lights, wonder woman ,etc.. But stay away from there autoflowers. They are all over the place. Shortryder low thc and inconsistant, blue mystic auto. just plain junk. Northern lights auto another joke.So i stopped there.

Thats cool. I think i might give them a try whenever I get things mostly figured out so im not on here everyday asking questions. Im gonna be posting some pics in a little while when the lights come on and i would really appreciate any input on how they look or if i can be doing anything different. You really cant tell in my first pics but there is perlite in the MG soil that im using. Not to mention that I meant to put this under the grow log and accidently put it under plant problems. Anyways any input would be greatly appreciated and thanks for the advice so far
