nutrient film tecqnique i think it stands for. if you look in his 1st pic youll see the tank which comes with it, under those plants is the water, which is pumped onto a shallow slope and run in a film over the plants roots and then falls back into the tank. i think its pretty new, and meant to grow the plants very fast hope this helps.
