you need a 250 watt high pressure sodium .....perhaps you meant to ask something else ? a generic 250 from lowes/homedepot will grow excellent bud.

no. he means a generic 250W HPS bulb (in a 250W HPS ballast of course!).

yeah that's what i meant. but now i wanna buy a ballast that is switchable between two kinds of bulbs one bulb will be for (high pressure somdium)and the other one would be a (metal halide)
