If the room is not completely dark for its 12 hour dark period then yes. If i were you i would do some reading before you put a seed in dirt. This site has all the info you need to grow so when a question is ask like this everyone knows you haven't put your reading in. We have all read and if you want to grow, thats where id start:thumbsup:
