    halogen is worthless. it's highly inefficient therefor not much useable light but lots of heat!

    The problem is those lights produce too much heat there bright as shit but your plants would not grow under it, Your best of using cfl's there cheap and work on a budget You can put them within inches from your grow without burning anything. :jointsmile:
