It may be too late at this point since you said 2 days, but I used to work and do the hiring for Genuardi's (also owned by Safeway) and they DO drug test. Safeway's policy is a mouth swab. It used to be an oral swab that was sent away to Quest, but last year they switched to a rapid result oral swab. The rapid result means they have results in from of you within 10 minutes, and the Safeway policy is that they have to confirm with another manager before accepting a pass or fail. If you fail/inconclusive then you have 2 days to go to a lab for a urine sample to dispute the rapid swab results. As I said this was for Genuardi's in Northeast USA, but they are owned by Safeway just like Vons so it SHOULD be universal policies.
