    wrinkly and claw shaped leaves

Hello contributors to a better society,

So if my plants exhibit the worrying appearance of wrinkles and claws,
because the roots are always in water, bbbbeeeecuzzzzaa, even with the
HYDROTON buckets wrapped in screen door mesh ( clothe not wire )
and these hydroton buckets have been elevated inside the water buckets.
( as stated in my other posts )
...the roots still bust through the mesh and into the water, meaning they are
getting to much water / nutrients, cuz'n the above stated problemento !
The top fan leaves are huge, monstrous, bigger, way bigger than my hands !
They are short 1 1/2 ft. short and dense as a tropical jungle !
Should i cut some - many leaves off, to give the lower stuff a chance
to develop cuz'n they are so so puney

Does anyone have any further suggestions ! ?

Cannabis.com is still not able to up load photos ! ! !

Really would like to know how other Hydroton users set their system up ! ?

Do you use additional air supply to each bucket ?

If you do, is it from the bottom or top of buckets ?

Do you use air stones with each individual buckets, cuz'n i use 2 air stones
    in my 55 Gal. res.

For awhile i was feeding air lines through the water lines to the buckets
but removed them cuz i figured the wrinkly& claw look was caused by
the additional nitrogen / oxygen ! = more water spray.

They seem to be doing alittle better now but as you can see through
these photos they still have the dreaded claw&wrinkly appearance.
