So,its Sunday night
OK, I'll play.
On Saturday, my wife dragged me to the local fall festival. Sensing extreme Green Acres type hickishness, I quickly blazed before going.
We followed a winding dirt road to get there and I swear I could here the theme music from Deliverance playing in the background somewhere . . . We arrived at a cow pasture with a few tents and a dilapidated barn - all chock full of local arts & crafts and country fare like canned beets and apple sauce.
I stumbled around in a kind of hick purgatory as my wife clucked over the displays and chatted up old friends. Ha ha, they even had a live "band" consisting of three old dudes playing banjo's with looks on their faces like they just stepped in dog shit. Maybe they were bumming because their drummer just died of old age . . . I kept waiting for Mr. Sweeny to jump out and try to sell me some outrageously unnecessary country wares, but I was mercifully spared.
I spent Sunday recovering from my big time on Saturday.

So,its Sunday night
My wonderful Sunday consisted of me sitting behing a pair of scissors and trimmin weed. All bloody day.
But the day before I made it to the beach and bodysurfed for a few hours. It was the my first trip out of the house in almost two months. And it felt great.
Right now its 3am here. Wifey couldn't sleep, (I was doing ok) so wake me up and boot me out.
Time for the coffee I.V. After I slam a pot or two I'll be fine. Then back to the scissors.
