25sf of free legal growing space is literally infinately better that what Californians have now which is 0 sf.
Thats only true for Californians who don't have scripts. I'm sorry but its not my problem that they don't They can go get one just as easily as I did.

they mean a 5x5 per household or per parcel of land....what if you have 4-5 people living there that want to grow.... all must share that 5x5 spot...

If you live on a 5 acre parcel with 50 people who wanted to grow....all 50 growers must share 1 - 5x5 spot

25 plants in a 5x5 no way bro.....i will be lucky to get 2 plants in a 5x5...some people will be lucky to get 1 plant in that size of a area:hippy:

"...Cultivate, on private property by the owner, lawful occupant, or other lawful resident or guest of the private property owner or lawful occupant, cannabis plants for personal consumption only, in an area of not more than twenty-five square feet per private residence or, in the absence of any residence, the parcel."

That's all Prop 19 says about it!

My read: Each resident (or guest!) may have a maximum of 25 sq ft at each location.

    That's pretty wide open.

Cities can change that, too. You could bug your council to increase the area, or change the rule to "per person."

I'd like to see larger areas for people who want to grow outdoors. Not everybody wants all the expense of an indoor setup and 1000w grow lights.

The rule is 25 square feet. Not cubic feet. Height doesn't figure in.

mikeyman....re: the herb inspector job....I know you were kidding but did you see where California is trying to unionize marijuana workers? So funny, all the way from cultivator to trimmer, to herb tender like in a dispensary...folks supposedly can earn upwards of 25 bucks an hour. Of course the "union" is being touted by something called Amsterdam college here in L.A. and 3 more in San Fran that teach you how to do all those things. I find it ridiculous.

    Your reading that wrong bro

"not more than twenty-five square feet per private residence or, in the absence of any residence, the parcel."...thats per household or land parcel

Cultivate, on private property by the owner, lawful occupant, or other lawful resident or guest of the private property owner or lawful occupant.....that is the owner or renter or a guest a area no bigger than 25 sq ft

...not every person at the home gets a 25 sq ft....the home or parcel itself is allowed 25 sq ft just as long as the owner says its ok....if a owner states in a lease agrement no growing and you do... that can be cause for eviction even though the law allows for grows

Using your way of thinking.... 4 people in the same house could combine the 5x5 into a 20x20....
