I did not know res temp until recently, when I started getting temp it was around 85, without icepacks it is 74, I introduced some ice packs in the res today and will try and retain a temp of 68. I'm in the middle of my grow so it was hard to attempt to permentaly light proof it right now, but I jerry rigged black plastic bags around the res, and added a cardboard cut out for the top of the res, it's nice and dark now. After this grow, or death, I will permenatly light proof the res with black duct tape.

I had a little orange on one of the roots about a week ago and believed it to be nute stain, however, now that all of them have it, and the plants look sick and wilted, I think it's rot. I have pictures in my album if you'd like a look.
PurpleRoot Reviewed by PurpleRoot on . Wilted Leaves After Res Change I have a hydro system with a crop approximately three weeks old. The grow has been going well until my recent res change. I have changed the res three times with no issues. I have been reading about the benifits of oxygen to your roots, and that it was suggested that you disable your constant flow system for awhile to allow the roots to get a higher oxygen intake. Yesterday I emptied my res. I then added three gallons to my six gallon res, with one drop of superthrive. I allowed the Rating: 5
